Today the pair are enjoying a trip along Maiwar (the Brisbane River), one of Brisbane's most iconic waterways. Ginger is content to drift along and take in the scenery, while Keith is keeping one eye out for something much more important—a nearby eucalyptus tree.
Koalas spend much of their lives eating eucalyptus leaves and sleeping high in the branches, so even the most adventurous koala knows when it's time to head home for a well-earned rest.
